Hello Parents,

This week our learning about bears was inspired by real bear artifacts! We compared fir and claw samples and we use puppets to make more bear stories. This week our friends from ‘Bear Snores On’ were trying to keep bear awake so he can be part of a very special evening when Santa visits. We also had a very interesting discussion about the ‘cost’ of hibernation and how that doesn’t allow participation in winter fun activities like skating, skiing and winter celebrations. Our students agree that perhaps hibernation may not be a good choice for humans.

Winter Celebration: Please drop off your child to the classroom around 5:45 pm and pick them up after the concert around 7 pm. The students are encouraged to wear dark pants and colorful tops. Dresses and skirts are not ideal because of the African drums.

Have a great weekend,
Ms. Dilov
